Browsing on Google Earth, I have been collecting screen shots of the places I have been virtually visited. Earth's textures are wonderful to look at, as well as the glitches created by the satellites pictures stitched together.

I added these textures on top of randomly created terrains environments using Unity3D and Cinema4D. The contrast between the forms suggested by the textures and the actual volumes of the 3D terrains plays on how we perceive the landscape.

The project is questioning the relationship between the physical (Earth), the representation (Satellites pictures) and the interpretation (3D environments) of reality.
